The scarcity of good, honest techs who can do good and reasonably priced restoration/rebuild of audio equipment inspired me to create this restoration kit. In today’s day and age, it is difficult to find a knowledgeable technician who can service your audio gear properly. I have seen many poor quality restorations of equipment that cost way too much for their owners. In 99% of the cases, only a few parts were replaced, instead of a full and proper restoration job.A proper restoration must replace all electrolytic capacitors on all boards. Do not fall for partial kits that restore just one PCB (power supply, power amp, etc.). This is not a good or proper way to restore your audio equipment. It is the same as with car tires; one should never replace just one tire and keep the other worn-out tires on. A proper rebuild requires a full recap of all PCBs.On the other hand, if one succeeds in finding a good tech, the wait time is usually 6-12 months for the unit to be serviced, and costs are sky-high. I have been servicing audio equipment for many years and have developed deep respect for all good equipment. Knowing how amazing and warm these units can sound, I decided to put together this kit. Up for sale here is this set of 3 new 8v warm white LED wedge lamps. These are perfect for replacing the three dial light bulbs in the Sherwood S-7650 CP receiver. These will fit nicely in the old holders. LEDs run cooler, last almost forever, and draw much less current than the old incandescent bulbs. These are brand new bulbs and are guaranteed to work great for you. I use these on all the vintage gear I work on–they are incredibly nice. I have other colors available–cool blue, royal blue, cyan (green-blue), red, orange, amber/yellow, green, purple, and cool white, so if you’d like a different color just leave a note with the payment. The last picture is of a Pioneer with these warm white wedge LEDs installed. This listing is only for the bulbs, not the receiver. Up for sale here is this replacement light kit for the Sherwood S-7100 and S-7100A receiver. There are four LED lights here to replace all the bulbs. You will receive two warm white 29mm 8v LED fuse lamps for the tuning dial, one 6.3v bayonet-style warm white LED bulb for the meter, and one 4mm 8v wired warm white LED for the stereo lamp. These are perfect replacements for the old bulbs–they get just as bright, and will last much longer than the old ones. These are brand new bulbs and are guaranteed to work great for you.
