The radio powers up from batteries (I don't want to put AC through it as it has been sitting for decades in a closet) but there is no sound from it. I have restored vintage tube radios but don't have the patience or fine motor skills for this beast. And I have enough vintage radios around. I'm hoping someone else will find it a good restoration project and I'll use the proceeds for my own next project.
