Zenith Royal 7000 Trans Oceanic Vintage Radio

The radio powers up from batteries (I don’t want to put AC through it as it has been sitting for decades in a closet) but there is no sound from it. I have restored vintage tube radios but don’t have the patience or fine motor skills for this beast. And I have enough vintage radios around. I’m hoping someone else will find it a good restoration project and I’ll use the proceeds for my own next project.

Zenith Sold State Trans-Oceanic Royal 7000

Zenith Sold State Trans-Oceanic Royal 7000. Powers on and gets fm station. Makes high pitch sounds when on other frequencies. Speakers sounds good and is not blow. Battery compartment is clean and free from corrosion. No power cord included this was tested with batteries. Antenna is straight when no bends. Chrome has some pitting which can be seen in the pictures. Check pictures for everything is sale. Time rell on map doesn’t work. Comes with chart book. In overall good condition.
