Vintage SANYO M9935K FM Boombox Radio Short Wave Works TAPE PLAYER WANTS TO WORK

This eBay listing is for a vintage/used Sanyo model M9935K FM/Short Wave radio that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above. I just tested this out in my basement office and was able to tune in FM local stations just fine but when I went to test the cassette player, I ran into a few issues. I first tested to make sure that it would play, rewind and fast forward with no tape in the radio, which did work. I then tested with a tape and got a lot of feedback through the speakers but it did settle down but not until about 5-10 seconds after I hit play. Sometimes it played in only the right speaker but other times it would play in both speakers. I can also hear the cassette player ticking as it’s playing.

General Electric 7-2990A AM/FM Short Wave Radio Vintage WORKS WITH ISSUES READ

This eBay listing is for a vintage/used General Electric GE model 7-2990A AM/FM/Short Wave radio that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above. I just tested this out in my basement office and was able to tune in AM and FM local stations just fine but when I went to change the station to the higher range, the needle seemed to get stuck right around 101-102 FM range and I can’t seem to get it off from that area now. I even tried AM and all of the Short Wave settings and the needle won’t turn even though the knob is turning fine…sorta like it’s stuck now in that position. I did have it working until I started to play around with the radio and now it’s no longer working. The radio does need a good cleaning. The antenna on top is broken off as well.
