Sony SL-HFR70 Super Betamax VCR POWERS ON For Parts Or Repair. This definitely is not in great shape. When you plug it in the power button is already on. The tape door is stuck open. There’s nothing lighting up at the display area, I assume it should light up automatically. When pushing play I here it try to engage something. Please see pictures for all the conditions.

This listing is for a Sony Betamax SL-HFR70 with SL-340 Box. The player powers on, but the tape will not push down to be played. I am assuming a new belt is needed to make this work. The cabinet has some scratches. The box doesn’t match but fits the player correctly.
