Just bought this from a seller in japan (button labels are japanese, translate with google translate), converted all my old kid’s videos. I’m including the video capture stick I bought on amazon and the cables to do the converting (worked with quicktime on a mac, says it works with PC but I didnt try it). Worked for my dozen tapes, majority were clear, a few had lines/noise in the video, but I blame the old tapes more than the player. The eject button cover is missing, but you can activate it with a pen or paperclip. NTSC hi-8 video tapes.
