Up for sale here is this complete rebuild kit for the Sansui RA-500. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild a Sansui RA-500. You will receive replacements for all the electrolytic capacitors in it, as well as replacements for the transistors and diodes. This kit includes 17 capacitors, 11 transistors, and 2 diodes. The capacitors are 105° Nichicon PW and Panasonic FC at the correct uf and the same or improved voltage ratings, and the transistors are the correct OnSemi subs for the originals. These are the same parts I use when I rebuild Sansui gear. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a little complicated, and you should know what you’re doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with a 40W, 60W, or 100W incandescent bulb. This kit should fix most issues with the RA-500, but I would strongly recommend cleaning the controls with Deoxit D5 or a similar contact cleaner.
