G.E. 5751 Vacuum Tubes For sale I have a superb pair of matched General Electric 5751 vacuum tubes. Triple mica with black plates and “D” getters this is one of the best in this family. Extremely tight pair! Carefully tested for transconductance, shorts, gas, life. No tube is sold that has any gas, leakage or fails life and strength tests. Photo is of the actual tubes on auction. The Triplett 3444 is one of the finest testers ever made. Exceptional in every aspect. Superb with directly heated triodes. The Hickok KS 15874-L2 is a commercial version of the wonderful 118 Cardmatic. In my opinion, and the opinion of many tester experts, this is the best tester that was made by Hickok. A real gem. The Maxi-Matcher is a useful tester for measuring current draw and transconductance at 325/400 plate volts with 5 bias voltage settings. Very good with 6V6s and EL84s, this tester falls a bit short of true operating levels on 6550s, EL34s, 5881s and 7027s. Still much better than most “suitcase” testers for measuring power pentodes. I do not trust the minimums on this tester and they are therefore not listed. The industry standard by default.
