Gold Aero 5965 tube pair of Premium Series tested NOS Audio Perfection!
Gold Aero tested and selected 5965 One Pair Premium Series Tested found another pair so 2 pairs are available. In the next couple of months I am going to clear out some of my more 5000 tubes that I will probably never use again. With all of these I have done some kind of design or custom piece in my 38 year history of making amplifiers, preamps and digital with tubes. I use to make a 2A3/45 amplifier years ago that used the 5965. This was a stereo unit with a single 5965 doing the gain/driver section driving the 2A3/45 output tube. It was therefore a requirement that the two sections be tested and balanced for good results. This is the remaining 2 pairs of Premium listed (I have a pair of standard if your interested PM me) that I have. If you know the history of Gold Aero you know they use to test and weed out all the bad tubes and sell them off. They would keep and brand the really good ones as standard, premium and platinum.
