These tubes are used in many products including the Schitt Audio Freya+, the Cary Audio SLP98, and several Woo Audio products ( the WA22, the WA5, the WA5LE, and the 3ES). You are bidding on (2) Matched pairs of Sylvania tubes; one pair JAN CHS 6SN7WGTA brown base vacuum tubes, and one pair of black plate,black base, 6SN7GTA tubes. These brown base tubes have identical ribbed black angled-plates with top round and getter rings. The black base tubes have black plates and top getters. Each pair has the same construction and are USA made. Tube#1 and #2: The green printing is poor, but you can make out “Sylvania” and “JAN CHS 6SN7WGTA”. Tube #3: Branded ” Crosley”, but the “312” manufacturer code ( indicating the tube was made by Sylvania for Crosley ) is clearly visible. Tube #4: Branded “Arvin” but the “312” manufacturer code ( indicating the tube was made by Sylvania for Arvin ) is clearly visible. All tubes were tested with the Maxi Test Maxi-Preamp II – the new standard of tube measurement. The MaxiPreamp II Digital Tube Tester is a compact, precision measurement station. It’s designed to test dual triodes and other signal tubes for the electrical characteristics of gain (A) and transconductance ( Gm ). The Pre II utilizes two proprietary high level current sources, an independent circuit for each section of a tube under test, to create the most accurate results possible for todays demanding listeners. Measurements are captured by a precision scanning A/D converter reducing crosstalk to a minimum. The tester includes a Scanning Digital Sampling Converter for the highest accuracy.
