This listing is for one pair (2) of new Cerwin Vega style 12″ foam surrounds. Beware of the less expensive, Chinese made single layer surrounds that are popping up on eBay. What I sell are the premium 2 layer USA MADE foam surrounds & are twice as thick as the single layer Chinese made surrounds. Check out my pictures to see the difference between these premium surrounds (on left side in picture # 3 & 4, 8″ size shown) compared to the super thin Chinese made surrounds I ordered directly from a Chinese manufacturer. 12″ 4 Ohm Recone Kit for Cerwin Vega RE30 REW12 REW-12 woofer
Recone kit for the Cerwin Vega re30 REW12 woofer. Red over gray foam like original. All new high precision voice coils, on ALUMINUM formers like the originals. Cerwin used aluminum formers for a reason. They are stronger and dissipate heat better than kapton, which is what everyone else uses in their kits these days. Several years, and more recones than I can count went into developing these to provide kits that not only take the pounding that I know you’re going to give them, but also match the t/s parameters of the originals. These cones are pressed rather than pulp, so they are thinner but more dense, and retain the same mass as original. Kits include everything in the picture. Shims available on request. Also included is a sheet of tips and suggestions from decades of experience, along with my personal phone number should you have an issue.
